Santiago Wild Festival 2021

Santiago Wild Festival 2021

Wildlife and Environmental Film Festival begins on 2nd of September

The story of pumas in Torres del Paine, the controversial hippopotamus of Pablo Escobar, the coronavirus and zoonotic, or the tragedy of tiger trafficking in Southeast Asia: the incredible unpublished documentaries in Chile that will be part of Santiago Wild 2021.

Some thirty nature and wildlife documentaries unpublished in Chile, by renowned international directors, will be part of Santiago Wild, the pioneering wildlife and environmental film festival in Chile and Latin America.

The festival -which last year gathered more than 40 thousand reproductions- has already opened its registrations, and will take place free of charge and will be online between September 2 and 12, 2021, through the official website: santiagowild.com

In addition, you can learn about the films that will be part of the festival’s official screening, including those participating in the “New Latin American Voices” competition, for which productions from Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia, and Mexico were received.

The event is organized by Ladera Sur, with the support of Jackson Wild and Smithsonian Channel. It is also possible thanks to the support of Conexión Puma/Isa, Kunstmann Brewery, The North Face and Viña Tarapacá.
