Andes Viva is excited to announce that we have joined 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses that commit to giving back 1% of their annual revenue to environmental causes.
We believe that it is our responsibility to protect the planet for future generations, and we are committed to doing our part to make a difference. By joining 1% for the Planet, we are joining a community of businesses that are all working towards the same goal: a healthier planet.
1% for the Planet was founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Matthews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies. The organization has since grown to over 17,000 member businesses, which have collectively donated over $240 million to environmental causes.
As a member of 1% for the Planet, Andes Viva will donate 1% of our annual revenue to environmental organizations that are working to protect the planet. We will work with 1% for the Planet to select organizations that are aligned with our values and that are making a significant impact on the environment.
