06:30 hrs. breakfast and departure to the Welcome Center located in the Cerro Paine reserve to start trekking to the Base de las Torres. You have the opportunity to see a colossal rock formation that we will visit after a winding path crossing bridges over several streams, native forests, and finally ascending on the moraine. From this impressive viewpoint, we can observe these giants of rock.
An intense and unforgettable day, at sunset we return to our starting point and head to the Pehoe Lake area to enjoy dinner and a well-deserved rest to recover energy and prepare for the next day.
At 8:00 am approximately, we will move to Pudeto Pier located on the edge of Pehoe Lake, at this point we embark on the Hielos Patagonicos Catamaran and sail for about 30 minutes, disembarking in the area of the Paine Grande refuge.
From this point we will start the hike towards the Italian camp, gateway to the French Valley and its viewpoint from where we can contemplate breathtaking views of the Cuernos del Paine and Paine Grande Mountain. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive at the French viewpoint, here is the great prize!
We will be able to admire the Hoja mountains, Espada and Fortaleza, the imposing French Glacier and the vivid colors of the Nordenskjöld and Pehoe lakes. After a well-deserved rest to recharge batteries, we will start our return, ending an exceptional day at our campsite for dinner and rest.
At 7:30 am we head to Grey Lake located in the western area of Torres del Paine National Park, about 10 km from our campsite. We check in at the excursion area of Lago Grey Hotel and then we go to the Pingo parking area. Here we leave the vehicles and walk along the edge of the lake to board the catamaran that will transport us to visit and enjoy the stunning beauty of the Grey glacier. It consists of a mass of ice 6 kilometers wide and more than 30 meters high divided into two fronts, its power source is the Southern Patagonian ice field.
At the end of our visit we returned to the Lago Grey Hotel restaurant to enjoy lunch and then continue along route Y-290 to the Milodon Cave natural monument located in the Cerro Benitez sector.
The Milodon Cave, also called Eberhard Grotto, is 80 meters long, 200 meters deep, and about 30 meters high. It is located 24 km north of Puerto Natales. There is a replica of the Milodon in natural size and a museum with paleontological, archaeological, and morphological history of the area.
We arrive in the city of Puerto Natales at sunset and after a short rest, we will enjoy an unforgettable closing dinner. Return to Hotel Factoria.
At a previously arranged time we will transfer you from your hotel to the local airport.
